Continuous Radon-in-Water Accessory for RAD7 – RAD Aqua
The RAD Aqua is the fastest, most sensitive method of measuring radon in water, and it can monitor both radon and thoron levels continuously. Water passes continuously through the exchanger. Air flows in a closed loop through the exchanger and through the RAD7. Radon in the air comes into equilibrium with radon in the water. From the radon concentration in the air and the temperature of the air/water interface, the radon concentration in the water is determined.
Features:
- Continuously monitors both radon and thoron in water
- Easy to use – Just hook it up to the tap and hook it up to the RAD7
- Quick Response – 95% in 30 min
- Easily measure below 1 pCi/L
- Accurate to within +/- 5%
- Clean and Safe – no hazardous chemicals
- Includes temperature logger and software
- Practically no running costs
Radon-in-Water Accessory for the RAD7 – RAD H2O
Features:
- Portable: complete kit, in fitted case, just 13 lb
- Automatic: Procedure under full microprocessor control – Printed result gives radon concentration in the water
- Fast: Analysis completed within an hour of taking the sample
- Accurate: As accurate as liquid scintillation
- Sensitive: More sensitive than liquid scintlillation – LLD 10 pCi/L (20 minute count)
- Clean and Safe: No hazardous chemicals
- Proven: In regular use throughout the world, by individuals and labs, for the past eight years
- Great Value: Practically no running costs
Soil and Gas Measurement
The Soil and Gas Measurement product is used to determine the radon concentration in soil gas at a specified depth within the soil. To do this, the gas must be removed from the soil and delivered to a RAD7 without dilution by outside air. A probe, with a hollow tube and sampling holes near the tip may be inserted into the soil, and gas drawn up the tube, and into the RAD7.
